You picked the perfect glass block. Now you need the parts that hold it all together.
Glass block accessories do the quiet work behind every solid install. Spacers set your joints. Anchors and reinforcement keep the panel strong and stable. Channels give your edges a clean, finished look. Without them, even the best blocks can end up uneven.
Glass Block Warehouse carries accessories for both mortar and mortarless systems. We design each piece to work with our glass blocks. Are you a contractor or a first-time DIYer? Either way, this guide will help you find exactly what your project needs.
Mortar Installation Accessories
Mortar is the classic way to build a glass block wall or window. It creates a solid, lasting panel. The right glass block accessories keep that panel straight, strong, and even.
Our mortar installation accessories work with all glass block lines, series, sizes, and styles. Here is what you will find:
- 50lb Bag of White Glass Block Mortar: Mortar made for glass block projects.
- Universal Spacers: Each bag holds 24 spacers. They create 1/4 inch joints and fit all our glass block sizes, from Thinline to Premiere.
- 4 Inch Mortar Spacers and Vistabrik Mortar Spacers: Spacer options for specific block lines.
- 16 Inch Panel Anchors: Stainless steel anchors that add stability and strength during installation.
- 16 Inch Expansion Strips: Foam strips that protect block edges as the panel expands and contracts.
- Panel Reinforcement: Stainless steel reinforcement in 36, 48, 84, and 120 inch lengths. A 48 inch F-120 option is also available. The 36 and 48 inch lengths ship by standard ground. The 84 and 120 inch lengths ship on pallet orders only.
You can trim panel reinforcement with basic tools to fit your opening. Ask our team for a mortar installation guide before you start.

Mortarless Installation Accessories
Want the glass block look without mixing mortar? Mortarless systems make it possible. Glass block silicone, spacers, anchors, and perimeter channels hold the blocks in place. Once the panel is up, you finish the joints. The tips below show which finish your project needs.
We group our mortarless accessories by installation system. Each system matches a specific block line. Shop the category for your blocks. Then buy the individual pieces your project needs:
- KwiK-N-EZ and 80mm Installation System: For 3 inch Thinline and 1919/8 Basic Line blocks. You will need Universal Wall Anchor Packs, glass block silicone, KwiK-N-EZ horizontal and vertical spacers, and a KwiK-N-EZ Perimeter Channel. Shape spacer packs cover Basic Line rounded corners and Allbends.
- Premiere Installation System: For 4 inch Premiere blocks. You will need Universal Anchor Packs, glass block silicone, Premiere horizontal and vertical spacers, and a Premiere Perimeter Channel. Allbend Packs and Corner Block Packs cover curves and corners.
- Design Line Installation System: For Design Line Pegasus and Mendini blocks. You will need Universal Wall Anchor Packs, glass block silicone, Pegasus horizontal and vertical spacers, and a Pegasus Perimeter Channel. Rounded corners need a different system.
- Design Line Doric Installation System: Made only for the Doric profile. You will need wall anchors, glass block silicone, and Q19 63 inch and Q19 7 inch spacers. Do not mix it with other spacer systems.
- MyMiniGlass Installation System: For 3 inch MyMiniGlass blocks only. You will need Universal Wall Anchor Packs, glass block silicone, MyMiniGlass horizontal and vertical spacers, and a MyMiniGlass Perimeter Channel.

Mortarless Tips: Finishing Joints and Planning Your Time
Mortarless installs follow a few key rules. Know them before you start so you can plan your project.
Walls need grout. Grout the joints on every mortarless wall after you set the last block. Grout gives the wall its rigidity. Glass Block Warehouse does not sell grout, so pick it up from a local supplier.
Windows give you a choice. A window attaches to its opening on all four sides. That support lets you finish the joints with either grout or silicone.
Plan for more than one day. Mortarless is not always the faster option. A mason can often install a mortar wall or window in a single day. A mortarless wall needs more time. Stop at about 5 blocks tall per day. The silicone needs about 12 to 18 hours to set up. If you keep stacking before it sets, the blocks can start to shift.
How to Choose the Right Glass Block Accessories
Start with your installation method. Then match each accessory to your block line and project size.
- Pick mortar or mortarless. Mortar suits masons and anyone used to working with mortar. Mortarless suits builders who want to skip mixing mortar.
- Match your block line. Each mortarless system fits specific blocks. Check that your accessories fit your Thinline, Premiere, Design Line, Doric, MyMiniGlass, or Vetropieno blocks.
- Measure your opening. Choose a panel reinforcement or channel length that fits. Trim it if needed.
- Plan for corners and curves. Rounded corners and Allbends may need shape spacer packs or a different system.
